No, I’m sorry we are talking about this moment because wow, can you say powerful? Not just as a dynamic scene but Hitsugaya himself, showing off his chops as a captain. He simultaneously stops them, and doesn’t even fucking turn around to block Kira’s attack. Not only that, but Kira’s released zanpakuto makes whatever it strikes twice as heavy, and Hitsugaya acts like it’s nothing. That thing is on his back, but does he show weakness? Nope. And he does it all for Hinamori so she doesn’t get hurt. While all the other shinigami are gawking, he goes in and stops it.
